Paule-Dominique received a certification in gentle massage for children (4 to 18 years old) worked in the hospital at the bedside of adults and children with all kinds of illnesses, injuries and cancers with special healthcare needs from Shay Beider, Instructor with the Institute of Health and Healing in San Francisco, CA in 2007. Also, she did her internship there for one year. As well as Davies Campus Hospital and California Campus Hospital.

An excellent and caring massage for my daughter

A gentle and caring touch for children ages 4-18 can greatly improve the quality of a child's life.
Massage has proven physiological benefits. It reduces stress form a strong body image. Children with disabilities and chronic musculoskeletal problems can benefit tremendously from regular massage. Massage is also very helpful to teenagers who are suffering from depression. Soothing and appropriate touch can help to dramatically improve mood, self-esteem and body image.
The medical history form is required before your appointment with your child.
The capacity to accept touch can positively affect interpersonal relationships and helps to develop trust in others. Massage therapy is helpful to stress related health problems in children, which includes: muscle contraction, headaches, stomachaches, anxiety, constipation, growing pain and crying spells. Parents should remain in the massage room with their child during the massage. 18 and up the parent's presence is optional.

When massaging your child use positive phrases, such as "Relax, more and more" rahter than negative phrases, such as "Don't tense up."
